Terms
The short version: the show is free, the host is software, and by pressing 1 you agree to be recorded and published under your nickname.

Acceptance
These terms cover The Party Line — the phone line, the live stream and this website. By calling the show or using the site you accept them. If you don't agree with them, please don't call or use the site.
The show
The Party Line is free to call; your carrier's normal charges apply. It is hosted by Remy, an AI character. The conversation is generated by software and may be wrong, incomplete or made up. Nothing Remy says is professional advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise — and nothing on this site is. Verify anything that matters to you independently before acting on it. The show and the site are provided as they are, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for anything that follows from relying on them.
Participating by phone
You must be 18 or older to call. By pressing 1 at the start of the call you consent to the recording, live broadcast and publication of the call under your nickname, and you grant The Party Line a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, edit, excerpt and promote it in any medium. You confirm that no one else is being recorded with you and that you have the right to say what you say on the air.
Conduct
Don't share personal information about yourself or anyone else — names, numbers, addresses, employers. No harassment, hate, threats, illegal content, impersonation, advertising or solicitation. We may bleep, cut, unlist, block numbers or remove calls at our discretion, with or without notice. Call limits apply: a small number of calls per phone number per day, and a maximum length per call.
Removal
You can remove your call with the six-digit call code read at the end of the call, at /remove or by calling (904) 467-6969 and pressing 9. Removal deletes the recording and transcript from our site. It is best-effort against third-party caches and against copies other people made while the call was live.
Reviews and messages
If you send us a review or a message, you grant us the right to display it under the name you give and to edit it for length or clarity. We moderate everything and may decline to publish anything, for any reason.
No compensation
Calling the show is voluntary and unpaid. You are not owed anything for your call, its publication or its use in promoting the show.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed; calling or using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
